does it mean that, it's an agate ring or is it onyx. what does the word faceted exactly mean. Because i want the original gem agate ring.

It is difficult to tell from that description - I surmise that the onyx in this ring has been dyed for a darker black...

If you are definite about what you want, I would not buy that one without seeing it.

Faceted means the number of sides visible on the gemstone.
