(Please note that for these pendants, each hand-collected stone is unique. Variations in each stone's individual pattern, shape, and color should be expected.) The Grade A agate featured in this handmade necklace is complemented by dark beach sand collected directly from Lake Superior by the artist, and set in a 1-inch by 1.5-inch copper-plated pendant tray on a 24-inch copper-plated chain with a lobster claw clasp, as an artistic nod to the significant copper deposits found in the Lake Superior region. This pendant has been glazed to make the piece appear wet, as if waves have been lapping over it. The Lake Superior agate is Minnesota's state stone, as well as a desirable beach-combing treasure in the Great Lakes region.
