Hi fellow seniors, just for fun do you know your birthstone?

I have seen several different stones relating to the months of the year.

The most prevalent one for me is the Opal for October which I do like but I would much prefer the Diamond for April.

So which is your birthstone and do you like it ?

Birthstone question Please Answer?

So I have an opal birthstone ring that I've had for a while, I've gotten new ones as I've grown but it's always been an opal gemstone.

I recently went online to look it up and the sites said that the opal was the October birthstone, and that the August birthstone was peridot. I've read that in some cases, there are multiple accepted birthstones for each month, and that there are other types of stones, like star stones or something like that, that goes with your planet or your zodiac sign.

Please if you have any information can you tell me what kind of ring for August the opal is? oh and do not tell me it isn't because it is, I don't think multiple family members of mine have been wrong all my life. Thanks in advance for your answers!
