*Lozen was a woman warrior of the Apache people. little is known about Lozen except that she was a woman who followed both gender roles (a "Two-Spirit") and embraced some traditional female–as well as male–roles for her Tribe and was a fierce warrior. This focal features an image of a photograph of Lozen, a woman warrior (in public domain, circa late 1800s) It is a close up from an image of her and many others, sitting in a group with many others, including Geronimo. It is the only known photo of Lozen. The image is attached to the metal using a finishing product that creates an oil painting like look and texture. The image is shaped at the edges, copper leafed and hole punched. Finally, copper colored chain and lobster claw clasp finish the necklace (lead and nickel free). The image measures about 1 1/2 by 2 inches. Questions are always welcome. Every item comes with a charming burlap gift bag; nice to give or receive! Thanks so much for stopping by!
